Prince George’s County is known for being a hotbed of basketball talent, having produced 25 NBA players, a dozen WNBA players, and countless stars at colleges and universities nationwide in just the last twenty years. Showtime sent their film crews to investigate and document this remarkable basketball culture in our region. The result is the scintillating documentary “Basketball County: In The Water” which is now airing regularly on the Showtime network.
Though perhaps it shouldn’t have been a shock due to the near constant presence of our trucks on the streets of Prince George’s County, we were quite pleasantly surprised upon viewing the documentary to discover that one of our sweeper trucks makes a cameo appearance in the completed documentary at 2:49.
